BestTech, a specialist company in creative convergence technologies based on AI·XR, announced on the 21st that it has successfully completed an investment round at a total valuation of KRW 40 billion from Zero to One Partners and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME).

This round combined direct investment by a private VC with policy finance (investment-conditional loan), and is assessed to have verified both BestTech’s technological competitiveness and its ability to execute the business.

BestTech is also continuing its high growth in terms of performance. Sales in the first half of 2025 were KRW 9.2 billion, an 86% increase compared to the same period of the previous year (KRW 4.95 billion). Growth drivers include the expansion of references for the web-based XR 3D education platform “EduSpace,” expanded field adoption of the AI-based multiple-intelligence diagnosis “AI-MIT,” and the creation of new demand such as XR immersive defense training and industrial MRO.

The funds raised this time will be used for global expansion and pioneering new markets.

To expand in global markets, BestTech will roll out EduSpace overseas and build a partner ecosystem. In addition, it plans to pursue product advancement, including refinement of the AI-MIT algorithm and strengthening a data-driven personalized recommendation system. It will also move to pioneer new markets by expanding and standardizing the lineup of defense MRO and safety training XR content.

BestTech CEO Seo Woo-seung said, “This investment attraction is the result of comprehensive recognition of BestTech’s technological capabilities, marketability, and performance,” adding, “Building on 86% growth in the first half, we will accelerate the global scale-up of the AI·XR convergence platform and execute the mid- to long-term roadmap (including IPO) without a hitch.”

BestTech is recently broadening its trust base with public and international institutions through achievements such as an A-grade Inno-Biz certification from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, participation in UNESCO’s AI higher education policy dialogue, and selection for defense development funding by the Gangwon Defense Venture Center. Centered on the combination of AI and XR technologies, it plans to continue driving data-driven learning and training innovation across education, industry, and defense.
