[Seoul Economic TV = Reporter Jung Chang-shin] XR and AI convergence Edutech company BestTech was selected for the "2025 Test Bed Seoul Demonstration Support Project" organized by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA), and announced on the 9th that it will establish a basic education and VR training system to respond to power outages in water purification facilities and verify the effectiveness. Reflecting the operational characteristics of continuous operation for 24 hours, BestTech plans to increase on-site response through a VR training system that can be repeated without interruption of facilities. This demonstration is designed to learn the disconnection and reversal procedures in a power outage situation with VR scenarios along with basic education on the switchboard. Through step-by-step guidance and feedback based on the operation manual, workers repeatedly master the procedure and operate in parallel with existing field training and manual-based training. Based on training results and on-site feedback, BestTech will check the direction of improvement, such as compliance with recovery time and procedure. It plans to secure operational continuity and educational safety at the same time by providing an immersive practice environment while maintaining actual facility operation. Starting with this demonstration, Best Tech will promote the spread of public water purification facilities to all areas and seek to expand its application to adjacent areas such as water treatment and environmental safety. By combining repeatable simulations and evaluation systems, we plan to shift from post-recovery-oriented training to proactive smart training models. "The switchboard is an area where even small procedural errors can lead to risks," said Seo Woo-seung, CEO of Best Tech. "We will systematize the power outage response process into a standard scenario, and steadily check procedural compliance and recovery time to improve operational stability by conducting on-site training." Meanwhile, BestTech has demonstrated technological competitiveness and execution capabilities by selecting projects to support development costs of ▲KINNO SHOW 2025 Prime Minister's Office for Management Innovation ▲UNESCO ICHEI IIOE Pioneer Award 2025 (Smart Class Operation Innovation) ▲ attracting investment based on 40 billion won (Zero-One Partners, Jungvacuum) ▲ Gangwon Defense Venture Center. It recently won the "Hi-Seoul Company" certification and was officially recognized for its innovation and growth potential recognized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. /csjung@sedaily.com Source : https://www.sentv.co.kr/article/view/sentv202512090167 |
