BestTech, an AI·XR-based creative convergence tech company, announced on the 9th that from the 25th to the 29th of last month it signed MOUs with four major higher education institutions in Pune and Bengaluru, India.

The partner institutions are △ DPU (Dr. D. Y. Patil University) △ UBS (Union Biblical Seminary) △ BVDU (Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University) △ NBS (National Business School, Bangalore). Through these agreements, the local introduction and demonstration of BestTech’s web-based XR education platform “EduSpace” and AI multiple-intelligence diagnosis “AI-MIT,” as well as joint research and development, will be promoted.

BestTech and each university plan to proceed with step-by-step cooperation in areas such as: “DPU,” which will pilot XR practice courses centered on medical–life sciences and engineering departments and apply AI-MIT–based individualized learning paths; “UBS,” which will jointly promote the application of installation-free web 3D interaction learning modules to communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary classes and conduct Train-the-Trainer programs; “BVDU,” which will build an EduSpace demonstration classroom and jointly develop XR content tailored to local curricula; and “NBS,” which will pursue integrated XR·AI R&D collaboration, create an industry–academia joint practice studio, and jointly plan simulations customized for on-site companies.

Based on a browser-executed PC-XR environment, BestTech plans to spread across campuses a standardized practice model that minimizes installation and device constraints, and a personalized learning system that connects AI-MIT’s diagnosis–recommendation–practice–assessment in a single flow.

It will also sequentially combine industry-linked content such as manufacturing, robotics, EV, and industrial/defense MRO to promote technology transfer between education and industry sites.

BestTech CEO Seo Woo-seung said, “India is a strategic market where the scale of higher education and the demand for digital transformation are growing rapidly at the same time,” adding, “Through cooperation with these four institutions, we will build a practical XR·AI learning ecosystem that connects campus and industry sites and expand global references together with our partners.”

In the second half of this year, the company plans to conduct EduSpace–AI-MIT pilots centered on core courses (3–5 subjects) and provide teacher training, and next year to promote the advancement of content recommendation and assessment based on learning data, expansion of capstone and field practice, and joint R&D (joint development of manufacturing, robotics, and EV simulation modules centered on NBS and linkage to international joint projects).

Meanwhile, BestTech recorded sales of KRW 9.2 billion in the first half of 2025, up 86% from the same period of the previous year. It has also proven its technological strength and credibility through achievements such as an A-grade “Inno-Biz” certification from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the first Korean-company win of the UNESCO-ICHEI “IIOE Pioneer Award 2025” (Smart Classroom Operations Innovation), selection for development funding support by the Gangwon Defense Venture Center, and investment attraction at a KRW 40 billion valuation (Zero to One Partners and KOSME investment-conditional loan).

Going forward, with EduSpace–AI-MIT integration as the axis, the company plans to begin in earnest the overseas expansion of a data-driven XR learning system—linking personalized recommendation, practice, and assessment—at educational institutions, public bodies, and defense training sites.
